Darksiders 2 coming to modern consoles

THQ Nordic has announced that a remastered and enhanced version of Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on October 15, 2024.

This upgraded edition of the action game promises 4K resolution, ray tracing, and enhanced lighting and shadows. If you’re playing on PlayStation 5 with a DualSense controller, you’ll also get to experience the full impact of haptic feedback, adding extra depth and immersion to every strike as Death. The game’s loading times have also been improved thanks to SSD technology.

The game will be priced at $29.99 USD / €29.99. If you buy or pre-order by October 14th, you will receive a 50% discount. If you already own Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition on PlayStation 4, you will receive a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version when the game launches on October 15th, 2024. There’s a 50% discount on Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition for Xbox One, running until October 14th, 2024. Afterward, your purchase will automatically unlock the new features of the Xbox Series X|S version via Smart Delivery.

Darksiders II made its debut back in 2012.
