Ubisoft says PC is still important
PC "still an important platform" for Assassin's Creed
Ubisoft has told CVG that the PC is still a meaningful platform for the publisher's major franchises like Assassin's Creed.
Delays to the first and second PC games in the series were followed by a delay to last year's Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, but Ubisoft says fresh details on the third PC entry in the series are on the way.
"Definitely, PC is still an important platform for the franchise," Ubisoft UK marketing boss Murray Pannell told us. "The PC version is still on track, looking good and we're looking forward to showing some concrete details on that format soon."
Brotherhood released on XBox 360 and Playstation 3 in November 2010, with the PC version expected in Q1 of this year.
