Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III out now
Shooter franchise returns with campaign, zombies, and multiplayer
Activision has announced the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, the first direct sequel in back-to-back years in series history.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III marks the return of infamous villain Makarov, challenging Task 141 to fight like never before. In addition to cinematic Call of Duty Campaign missions, Modern Warfare III will offer new Open Combat Missions, day one Multiplayer with all 16 maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 (2009), modernized with new modes, mechanics, and gameplay, including three brand-new Battle Maps and the return of War Mode. Developed by Treyarch, players can team up with other squads to fight hordes of the undead in the first-ever Modern Warfare Zombies experience.
Modern Warfare III development is led by Sledgehammer Games, in partnership with Infinity Ward. Development for Modern Warfare Zombies is led by Treyarch, working with Sledgehammer Games. Modern Warfare III also allows players to—for the very first time in franchise history—carry forward their progression and inventories from last year’s game.

Warrior Pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone. By purchasing the C.O.D.E. Warrior Pack, you will be directly contributing to the Endowment’s mission to place unemployed and underemployed veterans in the U.S. and U.K. into high-quality jobs.
The developers promise a robust post-launch roadmap with more than 12 new core 6v6 maps, new modes, new content, and more. It starts with Season 1 in December, which features a new Call of Duty: Warzone experience set in Urzikstan, three new core 6v6 maps, additional modes including 2v2 Gunfight, and more.
Modern Warfare III is available worldwide now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on Battle.net, and on Steam.
