Developer Volition to shut down
Creators of Saints Row series will be closing
Developer Volition have announced that the studio will be shut down.
The news comes as a result of Volition's parent company Embracer Group planning to restructure. We thank our customers and fans around the world for all the love and support over the years."
Founded 30 years ago in 1993, Volition are best known for their work on the Saints Row and the Red Faction action game franchises. Their most recent and final release was the rebooted 2022 Saints Row.
