Baldur's Gate 3 release date moved up

Larian Studios have announced that Baldur’s Gate 3 release date has been moved up.

Originally planned to launch on PC at the end of August, the upcoming RPG will now release on PC on August 3rd, and September 6th on PlayStation 5.

The game promises more dialogue than three times all three Lord of the Rings books combined, over 170 hours of cinematics, 7 playable protagonists, and 11 playable races & 31 subraces, with multiple body types; along with 12 classes and 46 subclasses.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is a story-rich, party-based RPG set in the universe of Dungeons & Dragons. Choose from a wide selection of D&D races and classes, or play as an origin character with a hand-crafted background. Adventure, loot, battle and romance as you journey through the Forgotten Realms and beyond. Play alone, and select your companions, or as a party of up to four in multiplayer.
