The Division 2 free weekend begins
Available until the 22nd of May
The Division 2 is free to play this weekend. From May 18 6PM UTC to May 22 8AM UTC, players can jump in on their preferred platform. While the Xbox free weekend will finish at 8AM, the PC and PlayStation versions will last until 4 PM and 6 PM, respectively, on the 22nd of May. Any progress made in the beta will carry over into the full game.
Ubisoft recently had their Division Day in April, where they revealed details of the future of the franchise. Year 5 of The Division 2 begins with Season One: Broken Wings, coming sometime in June. Players will have a new manhunt targets, but the objective isn’t to take them out. Players must rescue civilians and rebuild the Castle settlement. The first season will also introduce Descent, a rogue-lite game mode for four players who start without any gear.
The Division 2 released on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in March 2019. It later made its way out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X in February 2021.
