Return of Rome is out now for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. Available on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC, the expansion pack brings with it three fully voiced campaigns: the Sumerian-focused Sargon of Akkad, the Macedonian-focused Pyrrhus of Epirus, and the Roman-focused Trajan.
All 16 of the original civilizations are now included, along with a brand new Lac Viet one. The Romans are also included in the single-player and unranked multiplayer modes. A future update will allow them to be used in ranked matches. The update also includes a new D3 mode, inspirited by the Vietnamese esports scene.
Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition released on PC in late 2019 and on Xbox Series X|S earlier this year.
