The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom out now
Sequel to Breath of the Wild out on Nintendo Switch
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has finally launched, six years after the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The Legend of Zelda series has sold over 125 million copies since it began in 1986, with over 30 million of those being from Breath of the Wild.
In Tears of the Kingdom, players can explore the land and skies of Hyrule. Although it uses the same basic map structure as its predecessor, mysterious floating islands are now accessible above the landscape. And there is an underground area that Link can explore by falling into ravines.
Link has new abilities in Tears of the Kingdom. One of these is called Fuse, which allows players to create and build new weapons. Players can also use the Recall ability to rewind objects through time. Ultrahand is another new ability that lets players create vehicles and other devices by gluing them together in a modular fashion.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is out now on Nintendo Switch.
