Firmament releasing May 18, 2023

Cyan Worlds Inc. have announced that their new game, Firmament, is coming out on May 18, 2023 for PC. The puzzle adventure game lets players explore three worlds not unlike their previous games: Obduction and Myst. Cyan Worlds crowd-funded almost $1.5 million on Kickstarter back in April 2019 for Firmament.

In Firmament, players carry a device with them called an Adjunct which acts as the interface as you interact with various devices across all the three worlds. Players will also be joined by a mysterious apparition who has a story of her own. The game will also be playable in VR and supports Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Rift S, and Quest 2 via Oculus Link.

Cyan Worlds remade their popular adventure game, Myst, with the Unreal Engine in 2020 for VR devices and before that they released Obduction in 2016.
