Square Enix today revealed the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition. In addition, two tactical packs will be offered as pre-order rewards to enhance the gameplay experience, including exclusive weapons, a bonus mission and in-game currency.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the return to the critically-acclaimed video game franchise. The game tells the story of Adam Jensen, a man cybernetically augmented against his own choice who finds himself in the middle of a global conspiracy to which he holds the key. The game is set to ship in early 2011.
The Augmented edition comes with a 40-page Artbook; Exclusive Bonus DVD with Making Of, Special Trailers, Animated storyboard of CGI trailer and Soundtrack; Premium Packaging; and Motion Graphic Novel.
Pre-Order offers include the Explosive Mission Pack, exclusively at GameStop e/ stores. It contains an entirely new mission with special cameo appearance of original Deus Ex character; Linebacker G-87 multiple shot grenade launcher; M-28 Utility Remote-Detonated Explosive Device (UR-DED); and Automatic Unlocking Device.
Meanwhile the Tactical Enhancement Pack, offered at participating retailers, contains: Huntsman Silverback Double-Barrel Shotgun; Longsword Whisperhead Extreme Range Sniper Rifle; and Extra Credits.
The PlayStation3 and the Xbox 360 versions can now be pre-ordered at North American retailers for retail price of $59.99 for the Standard Edition and $69.99 for the Augmented Edition. The Windows version can be pre-ordered for the retail price of $49.99 for the Standard Edition and $59.99 for the Augmented Edition.
