Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League delayed by a year
Major delay looks to adjust the overall experience of the action title
Publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer Rocksteady Studios have announced a delay for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
The game was first announced in 2020 and last summer, it got a launch window of May 2023. However, the developers have now made a major decision to delay the game by an entire year. The title is now planned for launch on February 2, 2024.
The developers didn't specify the reasons for the delay, only posting a brie statement that reads in part: "We have made the tough but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players. There is much more to share in the months ahead and we look forward to seeing you in metropolis next year."
Featuring an original narrative set in the DC universe, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League takes place in an open-world Metropolis. The story follows Suicide Squad members Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark who must take on an impossible mission to save Earth and kill the world’s greatest DC Super Heroes, The Justice League.
The title is planned for release on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
