Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy announced
The puzzle adventure series will return with another entry
Frozenbyte have announced Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy, is in development.
The latest game will take Amadeus the Wizard, Zoya the Thief, and Pontius the Knight on their most action-packed journey. Puzzles will change difficulty according to the number of players, the game also offers a skill quest system, and new tactical multi-phase boss fights.
This 2.5D puzzle-platforming game is set in a fantastical fairytale world, offering players twenty levels to explore. Whether by yourself or playing with up to three friends in online and local co-op, the Heroes of Trine must reunite to push back a Clockwork army and bring peace and justice to the land.
The series has been published by a few different companies over the years, and for the latest chapter, Frozenbyte are working with THQ Nordic. The previous entry Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince was released in 2019.
Trine 5 is planned for release on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
