Diablo IV beta planned for March
Open beta will let players try a section of the upcoming action RPG
Blizzard Entertainment has announced the planned Diablo IV beta dates, set for March.
The open beta will be available to everyone from March 24 to 26, but those who pre-order the game digitally will get early access from March 17 to 19. A Battle.net account will also be required to play.
The beta will allow fans to play through the Prologue and entirety of Act 1, which includes the entire first zone, Fractured Peaks. The beta will also cap player progress at level 25.
Diablo IV will take players back to the world of Sanctuary which has been overrun with demons. They will take on Lilith, the daughter of Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred. Sanctuary is a seamless open world shared by other players. Classes in the game include The Barbarian, The Sorceress, The Druid and more.
The game is planned for launch on June 6 for PC and consoles.
