God of War Ragnarok sells over 5 million copies at debut

Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Santa Monica Studio have announced that God of War Ragnarok sold 5.1 million copies in its first week (five days).
According to the publisher, this makes it the fastest-selling first-party launch game in PlayStation history. The predecessor God of War from 2018 sold 3.1 million copies in the first three days.
God of War Ragnarok was released on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on November 9.
