Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 goes live

Activision and Raven Software have announced the Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is now live and free to download on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles.

Warzone 2.0 returns with a Battle Royale mode with new features in addition to returning concepts based on community feedback. There are changes to loadouts, circle collapse, and gulag mechanics. And across all game modes, expect new strategies to attain victory through retooled vehicle mechanics, aquatic combat, and more.

There is also a new DMZ mode. Whether you infiltrate alone or squad up, there are no guarantees of keeping what you earned. Play your way to survive and build up a stocked arsenal, with the ultra-rare Weapons Crate as the ultimate prize.

All of this is set to take place in Al Mazrah, a battleground from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare® II universe.

Warzone 2.0 integrates with Season 1 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, with cross-progress mechanics and a new Battle Pass system. More details can be found at the Call of Duty blog.
