Free Games with Gold for October 2022
An adventure and action strategy game free this month
Microsoft has announced the Xbox Games with Gold lineup for October 2022.
This is the first month since Microsoft has announced plans to no longer offer free classic/Xbox 360 titles on the service.
First up, from October 1 to 31 members can download a free copy of Windbound. Shipwrecked alone on an uncharted island, explore, adapt and navigate the land and perilous seas to stay alive. As Kara, you are a warrior, caught at sea in a fierce storm, adrift from your tribe. Thrown from your boat, at the mercy of the turbulent waters, you are tossed on to the shores of the Forbidden Islands, a mysterious paradise.
The second free game for members, from October 16 to November 15, is Bomber Crew Deluxe Edition, a World War II strategic flying and bombing game. It’s up to you to manage the fuel, ammo, and hydraulics while trying to avoid enemy gunners. Even the weather can bring you down. Keep your crew safe and focused and bring home victory.
These titles are available as free downloads for a limited time, for qualifying paid Xbox Live Gold members in all markets where Xbox Live is available.
