Bandai Namco has announced that Tekken 8 is in development.
Not much was revealed about the game, but it was confirmed it will have a story mode that will focus on the father and son showdown between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama, as well as competitive battle modes, and will run at 60fps. The developers promise improved, highly detailed next-gen real time visuals.
Battle backgrounds will be dynamic, such as waves and tornadoes, a huge tanker gradually breaking apart, and storms.
Tekken 8 is planned for release on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
