Mario Strikers: Battle League gets first DLC
Couple of new characters and an arena added
Nintendo has announced the first batch of DLC for Mario Strikers: Battle League for Switch.
Beginning July 22, a free update will be available to all players which adds a number of new features to the game, including the new playable characters Daisy and Shy Guy. Knight-Themed Gear is also added, which when equipped increases the strength and shooting attributes at the cost of other attributes. Also being added is the Desert Ruin Stadium.
More updates are promised in the future, which will also include additional characters, gear, and stadiums.
Mario Strikers: Battle League is a 5-on-5, soccer-like sport with no rules—do whatever it takes to win. Get gritty and try to score the most goals by tackling enemies and pulling off score-boosting Hyper Strikes.
The game was released last month, exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
