Final Fantasy VII Rebirth announced

Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the second story in the FINAL FANTASY VII remake series which tells the story of the RPG fantasy original, in three distinct games.
Series Creative Director, Tetsuya Nomura said, “FF VII REBIRTH is being designed so that people can enjoy this game whether they know the original game or not. Cloud and his friends embark on a new journey in this game, and I believe that the scenes that they witness after leaving Midgar will give players a fresh, new experience.”
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is planned for release on PS5 in 2023. The previous game, Final Fantasy VII Remake, released in 2020 on PS4 before also making its way to PS5 and PC.
