S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 delayed once more
Development has been affected by the armed conflict in Ukraine
GSC Game World have announced that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl will be pushed back a second time and into 2023, due to the war in the developer's home country.
Some of GSC Game World’s employees have decided to defend their country while a part of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl’s development continues in Kyiv. The company has also established a new office in Prague, Czech Republic, where much of the game’s development will take place.
As such, a decision was made to further delay the game. Originally planned for release in April 2022, the game was pushed back to December 2022, and has now slipped into 2023.
The game is planned for release on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
