Activision teases Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II
The continuation of the 2019 reboot has an October launch date
Activision has confirmed the planned release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II later this year.
The upcoming first-person shooter developed by Infinity Ward is a direct sequel to the 2019 reboot. The publisher has announced that it is scheduled to be released on October 28, 2022.
Details about the game are still being held back for a later reveal, but there's been a confirmation of the game’s squad, called “Task Force 141,” featuring a global cast of characters, including Simon “Ghost” Riley.
The title also has yet to confirm platforms, but it's widely expected to be on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 at the very least.
