Lost Planet 2 now in stores for PC
Game is ready for download for PC via digital sellers
Beginning today Lost Planet 2 is available for download for PC via Steam, Games on Demand for Games for Windows Live, Direct2Drive, and other digital sellers.
Optimized especially for PC’s, Lost Planet 2 features support for DirectX 11 and DirectX 9, delivering its Akrid-infested world in even greater detail. Through DirectX 11 features, smoke will have lifelike volume and depth, water surfaces react realistically to players, Akrid, and bullets, and level bosses are rendered with more detail than ever before. Lost Planet 2 will also feature support for NVIDIA 3D Vision and 3D Vision Surround technologies (wireless 3D Vision glasses sold separately) bringing the on-screen action to a whole new dimension.
Lost Planet 2 is the next installment in the popular action series. Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, the third-person shooter that debuted on Xbox 360, went on to sell over 2.2 million units worldwide after its release. Lost Planet 2 offers deeper insight into the world of E.D.N III and the uncertain fate of future mankind. A decade has passed since the first game, and the face of E.D.N. III has changed dramatically. Terraforming efforts have been successful and the ice has begun to melt, giving way to lush tropical jungles and harsh unforgiving deserts. Players will enter this new environment and follow the exploits of their own customized snow pirate on their quest to seize control of the changing planet.
Lost Planet 2 has been available on Xbox 360 and PS3 since earlier this year.
