Dying Light 2 delayed
Zombie action game sequel needs further development time
Techland has announced that Dying Light 2 will be delayed into early 2022.
In May, the company announced a planned December 2021 release date for this zombie sequel, but it has now been pushed back to February 4, 2022.
"The team is steadily progressing with the production and the game is nearing the finish line. The game is complete and we are currently playtesting it. It is by far the biggest and the most ambitious project we’ve ever done. Unfortunately, we’ve realized for us to bring the game to the level we envision, we need more time to polish and optimize it," said the developers in a statement.
Dying Light 2 brings to life a unique post-apocalyptic vision of the Modern Dark Ages - a bleak and unforgiving reality where you are as likely to perish at the hand of a human as you are by the infected.
The game is planned for release on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.
