Godfall coming to PS4

New expansion and free updates planned for August

Counterplay Games and Gearbox have announced new expansion and PS4 version plans for looter-slasher Godfall.

Fire & Darkness ($19.99) expansion promises a new Realm, new enemies, more challenges, and rewards. This includes over 20 new Valorplate skins.

Also, the free Lightbringer adds a new mode, as players will race against the darkness to close three Tears before facing enemies in a massive final battle. Endgame Matchmaking Beta will also be introduced to let you join other endgame players to take on the Ascended Tower of Trials and new Lightbringer mode. New Loot Type, Cursed Items, will grant players a massive boon, if players are able to lift the Curse and unlock the item’s full potential.

Fire & Darkness and Lightbringer will be released on August 10 - on the same day, the PS4 version of the game will also be launched.

Godfall made its debut last November on PC and as a PS5 launch game.
