God of War gets PS5 update tomorrow

Sony Santa Monica Studio has announced that God of War (2018) will be getting a free PS5 update tomorrow, February 2.
On the PlayStation 4 Pro version there are two graphics modes: one that favors performance and one that favors resolution. Tomorrow’s free update will allow PS5 players to experience the benefits of both modes at the same time – meaning 60 FPS at 4K Checkerboard Resolution / 2160p.
You can go back to the original PlayStation 4 ‘Favor Resolution’ video graphics mode at any time, which will offer 4K at 30 FPS.
God of War was first released in 2018 for PS4.
