Electronic Arts extends partnership with NHL

Multi-Year agreement reached for more hockey games

Posted on

Electronic Arts, the National Hockey League (NHL), and the NHL Players Association (NHLPA) have announced a multi-year renewal to their partnership.

The new agreement will allow EA SPORTS to continue creating new hockey video games going into the next few years.

“The EA SPORTS NHL franchise these past 30 years has become synonymous with hockey culture, and this extension will ensure it remains at the forefront of connecting millions of fans around the world to the sport through interactive entertainment," said Cam Weber, Executive Vice President & Group GM, EA SPORTS.

The announcement follows the release of the latest game, NHL 21, earlier in October.
