Ghost of Tsushima: Legends out next week

Sucker Punch Productions has announced the planned Version 1.1 update for Ghost of Tsushima to release on October 16.

Version 1.1 is a free update for all players and it adds Legends, a brand-new co-op multiplayer mode inspired by Japanese mythology, as well as new updates and New Game+ for our single-player campaign.

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is a brand new, online cooperative multiplayer experience, as you can fight side-by-side with your friends. The mode features two-player story missions and four-player survival missions, as well as a Raid that will release in the weeks following launch. Players can pick between one of four classes, and unlock the rest over time. In addition to each starting with their own unique ability, each class can unlock an alternate ability as you progress, as well as earning class-specific Charms and ranged weapons.

In Survival, you can team up with three other players to fight off waves of enemies while defending different locations in Tsushima.

In addition to Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, version 1.1 will include new updates for Ghost of Tsushima’s single-player campaign. New Game+ has been added, and you’ll keep all of the Techniques, Gear, and Vanity items obtained in a previous playthrough. There's also a new option to enable Armor Loadouts, which allow you to assign all Charms and vanity items to each armor set to quickly swap between loadouts.

Ghost of Tsushima is available exclusively on the PlayStation 4.
