DIRT 5 gets custom arena mode
Playgrounds allows players to create and share arenas
Codemasters have announced the Playgrounds mode for DIRT 5.
Playgrounds allows players to design, create, edit and race on custom arenas and share them. Using a suite of objects from bumps, kickers and ramps, to loops, tunnels and rings of fire, players can get creative.
Three modes can be played in the arenas - Gate Crasher (checkpoint dash), Gymkhana (rewarded for speed and style), and Smash Attack (position smashable objects and define a target score).
DIRT 5 will be released this October for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. A PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are also planned.
