The Last of Us Part II sells over 4 million copies

Sony has announced that The Last of Us Part II is now the fastest-selling first-party PS4 exclusive ever, with more than 4 million copies sold through as of June 21.

Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, The Last of Us Part II sees Ellie and Joel settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors. When a violent event disrupts that peace, Ellie embarks on a journey to carry out justice and find closure.

The Last of Us Part II released exclusively on PlayStation 4 last week.
