Cyberpunk 2077 delayed once again
Upcoming open world game slips for a second time, but still planned for this year
Developer CD Projekt Red Studio has announced that their upcoming open world RPG Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed, for the second time.
Originally planned for Spring 2020, the title was pushed back to September 2020. But now, the company says it will be delayed yet again, this time to November 19 2020.
In a statement, the developers say: "At the time we are writing these words, Cyberpunk 2077 is finished both content and gameplay-wise. The quests, the cutscenes, the skills and items; all the adventures Night City has to offer—it’s all there. But with such an abundance of content and complex systems interweaving with each other, we need to properly go through everything, balance game mechanics, and fix a lot of bugs. A huge world means a huge number of things to iron out and we will spend the additional time doing exactly that."
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are also planned.
