Halo: Reach drops on Steam and Windows Store
First Halo game on PC since 2007
Halo: Reach is now available on PC via Steam and the Windows Store. It is the first Halo game to launch on the PC since Halo 2 Vista back in May 2007. Halo: Reach can be purchased individually for $10 USD or as part of The Master Chief Collection. Those with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) will be able to play it as well.
Halo: Reach is a direct prequel to the first Halo. Players take control of Noble Six in a squad of elite Spartans that must fight the Covenant on the planet Reach. Forge and Theater are not included with the PC version at launch, but they are coming and more information about them is due next year.
For owners of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One, the Halo: Reach Campaign, along with Firefight, is now available as a premium add-on for $9.99. The multiplayer components of Halo: Reach are automatically included as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is the next game coming for the collection on PC and is due out in early 2020.
