Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville announced

New entry in multiplayer shooter franchise is coming very soon

PopCap and EA have announced Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville.

The multiplayer shooter franchise return with 20 customizable character classes. Play as new plant characters, including mysterious Night Cap, fiery Snapdragon, and team players Oak and Acorn, in addition to originals. On the zombie side, choose between classic fun-dead characters or new brain biters – gnaw-rly 80s Action Hero, boogie-bolting Electric Slide, or team player Space Cadet.

Team up to defend your territory in Turf Takeover, collect Crazy Orbs in Vanquish Confirmed, try 4v4 elimination-based Battle Arena, and more. You also join forces with up to three players in split-screen couch co-op across every mode.

Starting now, fans can become a Founding Neighbor. With this early edition, you’ll play through six weeks of weekly content releases ahead of full launch and receive Founding Neighbor benefits, like getting the game at a special Founder’s price of $29.99. USD.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville will release on October 18, for $39.99 USD on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
