Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair out in October

Playtonic Games and Team17 have announced that Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will be released on 8th October 2019.

The return of ‘Tonics’, game-modifying potions, has also been confirmed. More than 60 Tonics can be collected, giving players the ability to mix up the game in brand-new ways. In the Impossible Lair, Tonics not only affect gameplay – including infinite rolling, harder enemies, and super speed – but also unlock new environmental and visual effects.

Those who pre-order will get the exclusive ‘Trowzer’s Top Tonic Pack’, a collection of four exclusive cosmetic Tonics including Large Head tonic, Glow Worm tonic, D.I.S.C.O. tonic, and Yooka 64.

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC for £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99.
