Spiders Games acquired by Bigben Interactive

Publisher expands its roster with another studio

Posted on

Bigben has announced the signing of an agreement for the acquisition of Spiders, a French video game development studio specializing in action and role-playing games.

Created in 2008 by former Monte Cristo developers who previously worked together on the Silverfall game, Spiders has specialized for several years in the action and role-playing segment. The studio has so far developed 6 games including Mars: War Logs, Bound by Flame, and The Technomancer. Their newest game Greedfall will be released in September.

This marks the 4th studio that Bigben has acquired in the last 18 months, joining Cyanide studio, Kylotonn Racing, and Eko Software studio.

This new external growth fits into the BIGBEN 2022 plan, which aims at making Bigben one of the reference leaders in 'AA' video games, said the company.
