Free PlayStation Plus games for June 2019
Action and platforming served up for the summer
Sony has announced the lineup of free PS Plus games for June 2019.
First up, subscribers can grab a free copy of Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, which includes both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, along with all DLC for both titles, enhanced local multiplayer and remastered visuals. It serves as a good warm-up for the upcoming Borderlands 3 later this year.
The second free game for PS+ subscribers is Sonic Mania, a throwback to the Sega icon’s 2D side-scrolling roots. Sonic, Tails and Knuckles face off against their old nemesis, Dr. Eggman, across a mix of re-imagined classic stages and brand new zones. Expect platforming thrills, collectibles, hidden areas, and both competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes for two players.
These games will be free for PlayStation Plus members starting on the first Tuesday of the month.
