Microsoft to offer Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

Microsoft has announced Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which combines the Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold in a single membership.

The company says the new one convenient membership for $14.99 USD a month, which is roughly $180 USD per year. For comparison, Xbox Live Gold on its own is $60 per year, and Game Pass about $120 per year. As such, the convenience of a single subscription bundle is the core reason to check out Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, rather than any big savings over having separate memberships for each service.

A limited number of Xbox Insider community members will be invited to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate before it launches later this year in current Xbox Game Pass markets.
