NBA 2K19 MyTEAM mode changes detailed

2K Sports has announced a number of changes that will be featured in the MyTEAM mode in NBA 2K19.

In an extensive developer post, a number of features are highlighted. Triple Threat is a brand new single player mode within MyTEAM. Using a creative new ‘ball drop’ mechanic, you will leave your opponents and the prizes for defeating them up to chance as you work your way through every team in the NBA, with 3-on-3 gameplay.

New for NBA 2K19, the Card Glossary is a one-stop shop for fans to learn the ins and outs of the MyTEAM mode. This is just one among the wealth of changes that concern the Packs and their content and distribution in the mode.

Another new mode is MyTEAM Unlimited, a competitive online mode that allows you to bring your best lineup of 13 players to take on others. Play with all of your best cards, without restrictions. Earn MyTEAM Points, free card packs, Reward Tokens, and exclusive Player of the Month cards.

The NBA 2K19 Standard Edition will be available on September 11, 2018 and the 20th Anniversary Edition will be available on September 7, 2018 on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
