Sea of Thieves gets free Cursed Sails update

Rare has announced the launch of Cursed Sails, the second major content update for Sea of Thieves.

The update adds enemy Skeleton Ships, the new Brigantine three-player ship, and a new Alliance system. The new Alliance feature allows players to meet in the world, form an alliance and adventure together, but always with the chance that the temptation of treachery could get too much.

The developers have also announced that the Sea Of Thieves community has grown to over 5 million players across both platforms.

Sea of Thieves is available on Windows 10 and Xbox One.
