Code Vein delayed to 2019
Action RPG needs more time, pulled from Gamescom
Publisher Bandai Namco has announced that their upcoming action RPG Code Vein has been delayed.
Originally announced to launch this October, the game will now slip into 2019. "We have made the decision to dedicate more time to further develop CODE VEIN; ensuring the final product meets everyone's high expectations," said the company.
The delay also means that the game has been pulled from being playable at Gamescom 2018 next month.
Code Vein is a third-person action RPG that finds players assuming the role of a Revenant. After stumbling into Vein, players are tasked to embark into the world with a companion picked from the various residents of Vein to uncover lost memories and an exit out of this new demented reality.
Code Vein will be released on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
