Kingdom Hearts III has a release date

Square Enix has finally confirmed a release date for Kingdom Hearts III, the long-in-development follow up to the adventure game series that brings Disney characters together.

The official Twitter account for the game has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts III will now launch January 29, 2019. The added message followed, “We’ve announced the release day for KINGDOM HEARTS III ahead of E3 at the KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra -World Tour-. I’m sorry that we’re asking for a little more time than initially planned.”

Kingdom Hearts III is the twelfth installment in the Kingdom Hearts series, a sequel to Kingdom Hearts II, and the final chapter in the Dark Seeker saga. It was first announced back in E3 2013.

The game will be released for PS4 and Xbox One.
