Red Dead Redemption 2 Special Editions announced

Rockstar Games has announced a few different special editions as well as pre-order bonuses for the upcoming game Red Dead Redemption 2.

All pre-orders of Red Dead Redemption 2 will include the iron-grey-colored Ardennes War Horse and the Outlaw Survival Kit (items to replenish Health, Dead Eye and more). In addition, digital pre-orders will also receive a Cash Bonus for Story Mode, and the Treasure Map. No matter which version you choose, all digital pre-orders from the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store will receive an immediate infusion of GTA$ to their Maze Bank accounts in GTA V Online.

The Red Dead Redemption 2: Special Edition ($80) adds exclusive content for Story Mode including a Bank Robbery Mission and Gang Hideout, Dappled Black Thoroughbred racehorse, Talisman and Medallion Gameplay Bonuses, Gameplay Boosts, Cash Bonuses & Discounts, the Nuevo Paraiso Gunslinger Outfit, and free access to additional weapons.

Further, Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition ($100) has all of the Story Mode content from the Special Edition plus additional bonuses for online including two bonus outfits, Black Chestnut Thoroughbred racehorse, free access to the Survivor Camp Theme, free access to additional weapons, and Rank Bonuses (you can rank up faster in online, up to rank 25).

Lastly, The Red Dead Redemption 2: Collector’s Box ($130) features a number of unique items packaged in a thick gauged metal tithing box with lock and key - a copy of the game is not included. It does contain a Collectable Challenge Coin, Double Sided 100-piece wooden jigsaw puzzle, Six Shooter Bandana, physical treasure map, a Pin Set, playing cards, Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Catalogue, and 12 Cigarette Cards.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to launch Oct 26, 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
