State of Decay 2 out now

Microsoft has announced that State of Decay 2 from Undead Labs is available today with Xbox Game Pass and exclusively on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.

State of Decay 2 is a zombie survival fantasy, where it’s up to you to decide how to survive in an open, post-apocalyptic world. It features unique survivor characters with their own backstories and motivations, and expanded options to manage your community and develop your base. The sequel also adds one of the most-requested features from the community: cross-platform co-op.

You and up to three of your friends can survive together on Xbox One or Windows 10 PC and help develop a player’s community, and then everyone returns to their individual games with extra supplies and loot after playing in co-op. And as an Xbox Play Anywhere title, you’ll get both versions with one digital purchase, able to seamlessly switch between them, as all game progress including Gamerscore and achievements are saved on and accessible through Xbox Live.

The standard edition of State of Decay 2 is available to Xbox Game Pass members ($9.99 monthly subscription) starting today, May 22. In addition, State of Decay 2 ($29.99) and State of Decay 2: Ultimate Edition ($49.99) can be purchased.
