Dragon Quest XI arrives in the West this Fall
The RPG is coming to PS4 and PC this September
Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest XI is coming to Western audiences, with a release planned for PlayStation 4 and PC on September 4. A Nintendo Switch version will also follow later.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is an RPG from series creator Yuji Horii, character designer Akira Toriyama, and series composer Koichi Sugiyama. As the eleventh mainline entry in the series, Dragon Quest XI promises to be a completely standalone experience that features entirely new characters, a detailed world, turn-based combat, and more.
The Western release of Dragon Quest XI also promises upgrades and enhancements that were not included in the Japanese release, including English Voiceover, a hard mode, overhauled menus & UI, camera Mode, a New Dash Function and more.
