Super Bomberman R coming to more platforms
The action game reboot will arrive in June on new platforms
Konami has announced that Super Bomberman R will also release on Xbox One, PC, and PS4 this summer.
Starting June 12th, the new platforms will get a Shiny Edition of the game that contains platform exclusive characters. PS4 owners get the Ratchet & Clank bomber, Xbox players get Master Chief bomber, and PC players get the P-Body bomber from Portal. Further, players who pre-order will receive the 8 Shiny Bomberman Brother Set & Golden Vic Viper.
Super Bomberman R sees players guide their Bomberman around a maze-like play area using timed bombs to open walkways and take out players or CPU-controlled adversaries within a timed session. Useful items can be found within the destructible areas of each maze, so removing a wall will often reveal a power-up to extend the range of the explosion or endow the user’s Bomberman with a useful skill.
Super Bomberman R made its debut last year on the Nintendo Switch.
