Action game becomes the best selling Capcom game ever
Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter: World has shipped 7.5 million units, making it the best-selling game in the publisher's history.
World is the first game in the franchise to launch on a non-Nintendo home console since 2006. It is also the first simultaneous global launch of any game in the series' history.
The Monster Hunter series has now sold a cumulative 48 million units in 14 years.
Monster Hunter: World was released for Xbox One and PS4 in January, with a PC version to follow this Fall.
