Final Fantasy XV PC demo next week
Pre-order bonuses announced, plus cross-save compatibility with Xbox One
Square Enix has announced a number of new details regarding the upcoming PC release of Final Fantasy XV.
A free demo will be released on February 26 that includes Chapter 1 of the story and the full tutorial.
Exclusive in-game items and bonuses have also been revealed for fans who buy the game from now until May 1. Players buying on Steam will receive the Half-Life Pack, which features an in-game costume for Noctis based on Gordon Freeman, including the HEV Suit, Scientist Glasses and Crowbar; and the FFXV Fashion Collection pack. Fans buying on EA Origin will get FFXV Decal Selection pack.
The save data from the Windows 10 version of FF XV is compatible with the Xbox One version. In addition, a post-launch update will enable Windows 10 and Xbox One cross play for the FF XV multiplayer expansion Comrades. Players who pre-order the game from the Microsoft Store will receive the bonus FFXV Powerup Pack.
Final Fantasy XV is coming to PC in March.
