Mafia 3 developer hit with layoffs

Hangar 13 said to have lost a notable portion of staff

Posted on

2K Games has said that one of their development studios, Hangar 13, has been faced with layoffs recently.

The publisher has yet to confirm how many staff have been laid off. The statement reads: "2K can confirm that there have been staff reductions at Hangar 13 in order to ensure that the studio's resources are properly aligned with its long-term development plans."

Hanger 13 was formed just a few years ago and so far has only released Mafia 3, which came out in October 2016.
