Bethesda has announced the release of a free update for The Evil Within 2, letting players get through the entirety of the game in first-person.
Changing to first-person is as simple as flipping a switch in the menu, at any point. There is a Free Trial available that contains the opening chapters of the game including the new first-person mode. All save data will carry over if you choose to upgrade to the full game.
The Evil Within 2 was released last Fall on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
