Darwin Project open beta begins

Scavengers Studio has announced the launch of Darwin Project’s first Open Beta weekend.
The Open Beta Weekend will run between Friday, January 19 at Noon PST / 3:00pm EST / 9:00pm UTC +1 and until Sunday, January 21 at 9:00pm PST / Midnight EST / 6:00am UTC + 1. Anyone can download the beta via Steam on PC.
New for the open beta is a special mode. One player per match will have the chance to monitor the battle from the skies and dole out punishment and support to any combatants who cross them with a whole slew of unique, arena-shaping abilities.
Darwin Project is slated to hit Early Access in Q1 2018 and launch in spring 2018. The game will be available on Xbox One and PC.
