Destiny 2 launches on PC
Console release was the biggest of the year so far
Bungie and Activision have announced that Destiny 2 is out on PC across the globe today.
Destiny 2 PC is available exclusively on Blizzard Battle.net, Blizzard Entertainment’s online-gaming platform, for digital distribution and at global retailers.
Brought to PC in partnership with Vicarious Visions, the game offers PC specific features such as: 4K resolution support, uncapped frame rate, full mouse and keyboard support with custom key mapping, text chat, adjustable field of view, a detailed PC settings screen, 21:9 and triple monitor support, and HDR. Destiny 2 PC is playable on Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10.
In Destiny 2, humanity’s last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force, led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion. He has stripped the city’s Guardians of their power, and forced the survivors to flee. Players will venture to mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities. To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity’s scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back.
The console version, released on September 6 on Xbox One and PS4, was recognized as the best-selling console game of 2017 in the United States to date with less than one month of sales by The NPD Group yesterday.
